13000 female students participate in the cultural activities while 12000 male students did.
98 female students participate in the research department while 58 male students did.
The university undergoes 6 workshops of 322 attendees including 118 female students and 75 male.
Besides that, 12000 questionaries were spread in the university on students, staff, employees and social personalities. 1031 female students complete the questionnaire, where 880 male student did.

The workshop on measuring the unemployment rate at Qassim University concludes its activities: * Emphasis on activating the employment strategy in the Kingdom and giving females priority * Limiting the General Statistics Authority in official statistics and launching a long-term plan Media Center: Participants recommended a workshop to measure the unemployment rate organized by Qassim University represented by the Faculty of Economics and Administration last Wednesday under the title "Measuring the unemployment rate: economic and social importance" under the patronage of His Excellency the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammoudi In the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Omar, with the participation of a group of specialists who recommended a number of important recommendations represented in the importance of reducing the gap between official bodies and private sector institutions to create integrated statistics on supply and demand to enable citizens to work.
In addition to the need to emphasize the activation of the employment strategy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by emphasizing the achievement of special strategic objectives and working to create real job opportunities.
The participants also stressed the importance of developing a long-term plan for the workforce that attempts to link the outputs of educational and training systems with the needs of the labor market in the Kingdom within the framework of a development plan that achieves alignment between education and training policies and policies of Saudization, while activating the National Observatory of Statistics in order to create a wide database, provided that the General Statistics and Information Authority becomes the official body in issuing official data on the labor market.
Priority should be given to the female category in the areas of employment and labour market needs, with the need to enact regulatory legislation.
As well as raising the awareness of community members about the concept of unemployment and how to answer the questions contained in the labor force surveys with emphasis on changing their cultures in the positive perception of the value of work, in addition to paying attention to small and medium enterprises and their role in creating new jobs with the search for the establishment of development companies that provide new job opportunities, and finding economic visions that take into account the structure of the labor market and its locality in each region, and working to qualify the human element and make it able to innovate in order for the Saudi economy to become competitive, calling on the Ministry of Labor to coordinate With the Council of Economy and Development to emphasize that unemployment solutions will only be achieved through concerted efforts with some other official bodies, especially the Ministry of Commerce and Industry by developing advanced industries, electronics and advanced services, and working to find a kind of partnership between academic institutions, the private sector and government institutions in the implementation of scientific studies and research in labor market issues in the Kingdom.
The workshop opened with a speech by Dr. Ali Al-Noodle, Vice Dean of the College of Economics and Administration for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in which he thanked His Excellency the Rector for sponsoring this workshop and the Vice-Rectors of the University with participation and brothers involved in the success of the effectiveness of this workshop, stressing that based on the mission and values of the University, its role does not stop at the graduation of students only, but goes beyond it to work on participation with other parties in employing a segment dear to the hearts of all, pointing out that the University has always been interested in this matter and Give him a special priority, pointing out that the workshop comes in response to the mission of the university represented by the Faculty of Economics and Administration
It is worth mentioning that the first session was entitled "Unemployment: Concept, Reality and Challenges: An Analytical Study in the Kingdom (2010-2014)" chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Baridi, Professor at the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Management, and was addressed by Dr. Ihsan Bou Haleika, an economist and former member of the Shura Council, and Dr. Mutassim Abdul Mawla, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Management. The second session was entitled "Indicators of Unemployment Rates: Reliability and Appropriateness", chaired by Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Tuwaijri, Professor of Marketing at Buraidah Technical College, and was addressed by Mohammed Fahad Al-Issa, Director of the Ministry's branch at the Labor Office in Qassim, Mr. Turki Hamad Al-Quraini from the Department of Statistics and Information and Engineer Burgess Al-Burjas, Advisor on Economic Issues. The third session was entitled "Future Directions to Address Unemployment and Challenges" and was moderated by Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Kabeer, and was addressed by Mr. Saleh Al-Humaidan, Chairman of the Committee of the Chamber of Commerce in Eastern Province, and Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Jebali, Assistant Secretary-General for Executive Affairs at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the university announced the acceptance of 14,800 thousand male and female students to join the university in the next academic year 1441 AH, after the completion of the screening process and their fulfillment of the admission requirements among more than 26 thousand male and female applicants.
