On Monday, January 1, 1443, the University Veterinary Hospital, in collaboration with camel club, held a one-month camel tampering course at the hospital's headquarters, where a number of trainees from different regions of the Kingdom benefit from this course.

This course aims to increase the efficiency of veterinarians from the different methods of tampering with camels and methods of detection on the face of it and using clinically and laboratory-advanced devices, where the course discusses several topics, including: the concept of tampering, types of tampering, and objective changes "injections, surgical and mechanical intervention".

Veterinarians are also trained to detect tampering and know the types, methods and methods in which they are performed in order to qualify qualified medical staff to carry out this task to the fullest through the use of modern technology in detecting these practices carried out by some camel owners motivated by material greed contrary to religion and human morality, and the trainee is expected after this course to be familiar with these different methods of tampering theoretically and scientifically and be evaluated at the end of the course theoretically and practically.

For his part, the director of the University Veterinary Hospital Dr. Abdullah Al-Hawass, explained that this course, which is held in cooperation with the Camel Club and the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the University, comes within the framework of the interest of our wise leadership represented by the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in raising the efficiency of the sectors responsible for promoting this country and fighting corruption of all kinds, praising the efforts made by the university represented by His Excellency Dr. AbdulRahman bin Hamad Al Daoud The President of the University and university agents to raise the efficiency of medical and other staff by holding conferences, training courses and workshops in various disciplines.

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Daoud, Rector of the University, launched today, Monday, the Tree Week, as part of the second phase of the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, under the slogan “The Land of Qassim is Green”, which is implemented by the General Department of Maintenance and Services at the university. In cooperation with the General Directorate of Agricultural Affairs in the region, to plant 300 palm trees and 1500 shade trees, in addition to 1000 meters of green areas and thousands of flowers.

Al-Daoud stressed the importance of this initiative to be a green land, pointing out the encouragement of His Highness permanent and urging him to take care of trees, especially the palm, which reflects their interest in progress, civilization, and sophistication, stressing that the university has a great burden in terms of research and agricultural studies, as it has a great capacity in this field with the presence of a specialized and pioneering college, namely the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.

The University, represented by the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, organized on Tuesday, 17/3/1442 AH, a remote scientific lecture entitled "The tree is the solution", presented by Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Saqair, in conjunction with the launch of the sixth phase of the campaign launched by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz under the slogan "The land of Qassim is green and many parties in the region participate in it.

During the lecture, Al-Saqair reviewed the Kingdom's comprehensive environmental renaissance in which trees and vegetation cover, in general, were of particular importance, represented by giant protection and afforestation projects, listing many examples, which included the establishment of royal reserves, the Green Riyadh project, as well as the campaign of the land of Qassim green, and the campaign "Let's make it green", stressing that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 has defined the framework of this environmental renaissance and confirmed it.
