Dr. Murad al-Rashidi, Head of the Student Research and Presentations Unit and the Excellence Physician Supervision Unit, said the event was organized as part of the fruitful cooperation between the College and the Saudi section of the World Dental Research Organization and aims to promote and enrich research activity in the field of dentistry in the Kingdom.
The University, represented by the Faculty of Medicine, on Wednesday, 29 July 1443, held the attainment measurement test in its 14th session, which has been held by the College since 2012 at the level of medical students in the Kingdom and the Gulf each year, where the test aims to measure the educational level of medical students at various stages based on the criteria of measuring the competence of medical graduates in what is known as "Saudi Aids", and participates in the preparation of a group of professors of the Faculty of Medicine at the university.
The number of students participating in this year's test was approximately 10,000 students from 22 universities, including nearly 5,000 students who performed the remote test through a distinguished partnership between the Faculty of Medicine and the Deanship of Information Technology, which was able to provide the necessary capabilities and techniques for conducting remote testing for this number of students at the level of universities in the Kingdom, thus exceeding the number of participants in this test since its inception 67 thousand students from various universities.
The voluntary dental convoys at the University's Faculty of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Deanship of Community Service, organized their 29th convoy, which went to the Dome Center on Sunday morning, 20 June 1443, and provided services to beneficiaries until Thursday, 24 June 1443, at the Qubba Celebration Centre, as part of the university's initiative to activate the campaign of His Highness the Emir of the region, "I am a Saudi, I cherish my identity".

Dr. Zafer al-Asmari, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, said the convoy is part of the university's initiative to activate the campaign of His Highness the Emir of Qassim region to promote the national identity of "I am a Saudi who cherishes my identity", noting that it is an extension of the series of voluntary caravans carried out by the college as part of the volunteer dental caravans program, which aims to provide voluntary dental services to remote areas of Qassim to promote oral and dental health.
Al-Asmari said these convoys provide outstanding therapeutic and awareness services to members of the community, in accordance with international quality standards, and contribute to spreading the culture of volunteerism among students, and work to prepare a generation of creative dentists in the field of volunteer work, where the number of convoys conducted by the program to date has reached 29 convoys, and the number of beneficiaries of its services more than 35,000 beneficiaries, and the participation of more than 1000 volunteers.
