The Deanship's participation in the activities of the sixth phase of this campaign will continue over a period of 30 days, based on its mission towards the development and service of the community, and as an active participation towards achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 related to environmental protection, supporting afforestation, preserving natural vegetation cover, reducing pollution, raising air quality, beautifying cities, increasing the green area, raising the quality of life for individuals, and providing a healthy environment.
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, President of the University, on Monday, 16/3/1442 AH, sponsored the inauguration of the University's participation in the "Green Land of Qassim" campaign, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, which lasts for 30 days, where the University participates in its sixth phase, for the sixth time in a row.
The President of the University also inaugurated the "Plant It" initiative launched by the University on Twitter today, and will last for 30 years, where His Excellency planted the first seedlings of the campaign, and thanked the Deanship of Student Affairs and the relevant authorities involved, saying, "God willing, we will see the university city as a green land", in the presence of the Vice President of the University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saawi, and the Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Dr. Khalid Al-Harbi, at the main entrance to the university city.
